Chocolate Frog

For Valentines Day we turned frogs into chocolate. I thought this project was cute in light of the holiday. I learned many new Photoshop effects and their shortcuts.

Shadow and Reflection

In these exercises we learned how to create shadows in reflections to help us create more realistic artwork. We learned a new to called Layer Mask. The things we learned here can help me in the future by giving me more knowledge in order to create bigger and better things using Photshop!!!

Aged Photo

In this project we used one of our frame photographs to practice using Photoshop to create specific effects.

Balance and Frames

In this project we were given a frame.
We had to use it in our composition.
We also had to be in our photo, but not in the center.
It was to be in black and white, and we needed to create a sense of visual balance.

I created balance by making the side I wasn't on stick out a little bit more by making it darker with the frame on one picture and my own shadow on the other photo.

Random Object

We were each assigned a random object to photograph. We could choose to have it in color or black and white. We were to focus on "The Three C's"

According to my peers, one thing I did good at was be creative. They said my picture was more brilliant in black and white. One thing They suggested me to work on was to take the picture in a different setting. I don't agree with this suggestion because I like my creative imagination and I like to be origional and not typical.

Egg Challenge

In this project each student was given an egg to photograph. we were to take a photo in both color and black& white. we were supposed to exemplify one or more of the following: creativity, craftsmanship, or composition.

I think composition was one of the three c's that i did best at in this photo. I liked my black and white photo the most because I like how the contrast makes the egg pop out without getting to close.
